Radiohead – These Are My Twisted Words

Ever since In Rainbows dropped, we haven’t heard much from Radiohead besides a couple Thome Yorke solo tracks here and there. Word has it that this track will appear on a Wall Of Ice EP that is slated for release this Monday?.. with a theory (and cryptic message) based on this cartoon — that would contradict Thome Yorke’s previous statements that there would be NO new Radiohead material anytime soon. Funny part about it is that 2 Radiohead songs have already leaked this week, and 3 in the past month or so. I guess Tuesday will tell us, but judging on Radiohead’s creativity, I wouldn’t put it past them. The song itself is eerie and dope.

Mayer Hawthorne – Maybe So, Maybe No
A Strange Arrangement will be in stores September 8th via Stones Throw records. The album has to be one of the most refreshing albums this year, even though it sounds like a blast from the past (the 60’s to be more exact). In case you didn’t know, his song “Little Boxes” is the theme song to the Showtime show Weeds.
The Dead Weather – Treat Me Like Your Mother (Diplo Remix)

Can’t say i heard the original, but I’m gonna go out on a limb and say the Diplo Remix >>>>>

Rain Machine – Give Blood

For those who may not know, Rain Machine is Kyp Malone (from TV On The Radio). I guess his government name didn’t make the cut. This track sounds like a gritty one. His solo project drops September 22nd.

Coldplay – St. Stephen

Looks like the guys from Coldplay are suffering some leakage of tracks. There are some demo tracks floating around from the Viva La Vida sessions and whats crazy is that a track like “Lovers In Japan” is nearly 4 years old. You can hear Chris Martin’s piano ballads throughout the demo’s, even when he messes up. They play like rough drafts. For now, here is one of the unreleased demos that has surfaced. There are 9 tracks in all.

The Flaming Lips – Convinced Of The Hex

For those who may not be familiar, The Flaming Lips are about to put out a new album titled Embryonic which is slated to hit shelves September 29th. They definitely got that psychedelic vibe to them, so you can expect some tripped out music coming out of them. Definitely not for the sober of heart.

Thom Yorke Live At The Latitude Festival
Thom Yorke was out in England this past weekend and he played a new song on the acoustic tip for the people at the Latitude Festival. I’m curious to hear the studio version of this considering the psychedelia would be at a higher degree. Regardless, it’s always nice hearing some new shit out of the Radiohead camp.
Coldplay – Strawberry Swing
The official music video for Coldplay’s “Strawberry Swing“, from their album “Viva la Vida” in stores now!
The video was directed by the creative/animation team Shynola, and it features a superhero version of Coldplay singer Chris Martin doing battle with a killer squirrel in a chalk board world.
